S&P upgrades AlKhaleej Takaful Insurance's rating

Standard & Poor's (S&P) has upgraded the long-term financial strength and credit rating of AlKhaleej Takaful Insurance (AKTI). The rating has been raised from “BBB+” to “A-”. The outlook remains stable.

This decision is based on the company's strong operating performance over the past few years, which has exceeded the market average in terms of underwriting results.

The rating also reflects AKTI's high level of capital adequacy, as well as its improved risk management policy.
