Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) has published its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2024.
At 3.88 billion MAD (375.9 million USD), the company's turnover was 6% higher than the 3.653 billion MAD (363.1 million USD) recorded a year earlier.
Geographically, the premium volume is divided between the company's activities in Morocco (71%) and those overseas (29%).
Net profit rose by 55% from 282.16 million MAD (28 million USD) in 2023 to 437.1 million MAD (42.4 million USD) a year later. This improvement was largely attributable to better underwriting and financial results.
SCR's shareholders' equity stood at 3.055 billion MAD (296 million USD) at end-December 2024.
