SCR: share capital increase

The Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) has increased its share capital by 700 million MAD (76.61 million USD). The latter has gone from 1.5 billion MAD (166.37 million USD) to 2.2 billion MAD (240.79 million USD).

This operation enables SCR to reinforce its financial base, improve its rating and strengthen its position on the national, regional and international reinsurance market.

In 2020, the Moroccan reinsurer has recorded a turnover of 2.6 billion MAD (284.57 million USD), growing by 30% compared to 2019. The net income has reached 317.76 million MAD (34.77 million USD), that is an increase of 14% over one year.
