SCR establishes a new three-year plan and appoints two administrators

During their meeting held on 25 September 2020, the Board of Directors of the Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) unveiled a new transformation plan for 2021-2023 called "Transform Tomorrow Together".

It is a continuation of the "Strong II" transformation plan, which aimed at expanding the company in high-potential markets.

The objectives of the new three-year plan can be summarized as follows:

• Finalizing the latest STRONG II work and implementing the various recommendations of the French Court of Auditors.
• Strengthening the operational positioning of SCR and accelerating its growth in Morocco and abroad
• Contributing to the development of the Moroccan insurance market
• Obtaining the most favourable conditions for domestic reinsurance assignments

During its meeting, the Board of Directors also appointed two administrators, Jean Casanova and Christian Mounis.

In 2019, SCR recorded a turnover of 2.017 billion MAD (207.872 million USD) and a net result of 277.91 million MAD (28.641 million USD).
