Badri Management Consultancy has released the key half-yearly business indicators for the 25 insurers listed on the Saudi Arabian stock exchange.
Total insurance revenue for the companies included in the study reached 33.9 billion SAR (9 billion USD) as of the end of June 2025, reflecting a 7% increase from the 31.6 billion SAR (8.4 billion USD) recorded a year earlier.
The insurance services result amounted to 1.2 billion SAR (319.3 million USD), down 40% from 2 billion SAR (532.7 million USD) during the same period in 2024.
Net profit after zakat (Islamic tax) stood at 1.3 billion SAR (345.9 million USD), representing a 38% drop compared to 2.1 billion SAR (559.4 million USD) in the first half of 2024.
