Sanlam Kenya injected additional funds in Gateway Insurance

Sanlam Kenya has injected an additional amount of 121.7 million KES (1.23 million USD) in the capital of Gateway Insurance, henceforth called Sanlam General. This move raises Sanlam Kenya’s total investment in the non life insurer to 1 billion KES (10 million USD).

Despite this financial contribution, the shareholding of Sanlam Kenya in Sanlam General remains unchanged at 67.6%. This move is designed to finance the company’s capital.
