The salary scale of the insurance sector remains deficient

According to the chairman of Bahrain Insurance Trade Union, the salary scale of the insurance sector staff is below that of bankers. The insurance sector comprises 1 000 staff members, 63% of whom are nationals. The survey also reveals that about 43% of wage earners perceive a monthly wage below 350 AED (928 USD).
