The National Insurance Company (SAA) has been awarded three ISO certifications:
- ISO 14001 for its Environmental Management System;
- ISO 45001 for its Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System;
- ISO 9001 for its Quality Management System.
The Algerian insurer first obtained ISO 9001 certification in 2022 and successfully renewed it in 2023.
The three certifications were officially presented during a ceremony held on 16 June 2026 in Algiers, Algeria.
On the occasion, SAA’s CEO, Youcef Benmicia, announced that the company recorded a turnover of 38 billion DZD (291.5 million USD) and a net result of 3.3 billion DZD (25.3 million USD) in 2025.
