QIC launches internship program dedicated to artificial intelligence

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) has launched its first artificial intelligence (AI) summer internship program for university students.

Participants are selected based on their academic background, the quality of their internship project proposals, and their performance during interviews with the executive committee.

Over the course of the eight-week program, interns will receive intensive training in AI tools and technologies. At the end of the internship, the most promising projects will be evaluated for potential testing and integration within QIC’s digital ecosystem.

The initiative forms part of the insurer’s broader strategy to develop local talent and strengthen the next generation’s AI skills.
