Proposed merger between Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance

MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings decided on 28 March 2025 to merge its two non-life insurance subsidiaries Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance by April 2027.

This operation will give rise to the largest non-life insurance company in Japan.

Details of the transaction, such as the merger method and the name of the merged entity, will be announced at a later date.
