During the 52nd Conference and General Assembly of the African Insurance Organization (AIO), industry leaders came together to discuss the key challenges shaping the future of the insurance sector.
Discussions focused on increasing insurance penetration across the continent through the development of innovative solutions tailored to the needs of both individuals and businesses.
Participants also emphasized the growing importance of digitization in transforming the insurance industry, highlighting its role in enhancing product offerings, improving service delivery, and supporting market expansion.
In addition, stakeholders called for regulatory reforms aimed at strengthening the sector, including the implementation of stricter governance standards and enhanced capital requirements.
The 52nd AIO Conference and General Assembly was organized in partnership with the Egyptian Insurance Federation and held under the patronage of the Financial Regulatory Authority and the Prime Minister of Egypt.
The event attracted more than 2 000 participants from 57 countries.
