Peter Zaffino, AIG's new CEO

The American insurer AIG is making a new appointment within its management team. Peter Zaffino, the group's current Chief Operating Officer (COO), has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He will replace Brian Duperreault, who has been appointed Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Zaffino's appointment will take effect in March 2021.
