Orient Insurance expands into Saudi Arabia

Orient Insurance, a member of the Emirati conglomerate Al-Futtaim Group, has been granted a license by the Saudi Insurance Authority (IA) to conduct insurance and reinsurance business in Saudi Arabia.

Based in Riyadh, Orient Insurance KSA is headed by Turki Alshahrani. The entity provides non-life, health, protection and savings insurance products.

This operation is part of the Emirati insurer's expansion plan announced in September 2024.
