Mohammed Lamine Lebbou has been appointed Minister of Finance. In this capacity, he also becomes President of the National Insurance Council (CNA), succeeding Abdelkrim Bouzred.
A graduate of Badji Mokhtar-Annaba University in Algeria and Lumière Lyon 2 University in France, Mr. Lebbou has more than 20 years of experience in the banking sector. Over the course of his career, he has held senior positions at several banks, including BNA Algeria.
Prior to his latest appointment, he served as Governor of the Bank of Algeria.
