Sonar Vie has launched a new product called Mobile Protect in collaboration with Orange Burkina. The coverage includes first aid in case of road accidents. It also ensures the payment of a capital sum in case of death from any cause or total and irreversible loss of autonomy.
The product, available by telephone, is intended for all Orange Money subscibers aged 12 to 65.
The premium ranges between 170 and 650 FCFA (0.3 and 1.2 USD) per month depending on the offer chosen that is: Estime, Medium or Premium.
The annual first aid coverage varies between 50 000 and 200 000 FCFA (90 and 362 USD) and the death/total and irreversible loss of autonomy capital is between 250 000 FCFA and 1 million FCFA (452 and 1810 USD).
