Marsh & McLennan opens a new representative office in Dubai

Marsh & McLennan, one of the world's largest insurance and reinsurance brokers, has opened a new representative office in Dubai. The latter is specifically dedicated to following up the Chinese investments in Africa and the Middle East.

These regions are part of the Belt and Road Initiative (the Silk Road) which requires an investment of 126 billion USD in the construction of railway lines, pipelines, ports and various infrastructures. The Silk Road must connect China to the rest of the world by land and sea.
