Jordanian insurance market: net profit increase as at 30 September 2022

As at 30 September 2022, the net profit generated by 19 insurance companies operating in Jordan amounted to 18.6 million JOD (26.2 million USD), increasing by 9.4% over one year.

16 insurers have achieved net profits while the 3 others have recorded net losses.

With 5.4 million JOD (7.6 million USD), Arab Orient Insurance (GIG Jordan) has posted the best result during the first nine months of 2022. It was followed by Islamic Insurance and Middle East Insurance with net profits of 2.26 million JOD (3.2 million JOD) and 2.19 million JOD (3.1 million USD) respectively.
