Insurers require liberalization of motor tariffs

Jordan Insurance Federation (JOIF) has asked for the liberalization of compulsory motor third party liability rate. Unlike the system in force for many years, setting a single premium insurance for all drivers, this measure should improve road safety and reduce the number of claims reported during the year.

The insurance premium currently of 134 USD, would be adapted to the profile of each driver with the possibility of adjusting it according to the loss experience of each insured.
