Insurers and reinsurers called upon to cease business with Russian companies

The financial institutions most exposed to Russian oil, gas and coal are being called upon to cut their business ties with the country.

Several organizations are also urging insurers and reinsurers including AIG, Allianz, Atradius Re, AXA, Chubb, General Re, Hannover Re, Lloyd's, Munich Re, Partner Re, SCOR, Swiss Re, Tokio Marine, Travelers and Zurich to stop covering Russian companies.
