Insurance forecasts remain excellent

Non-life insurers are poised to witness a steady increase of their incomes in 2011 thanks to the strong economic growth in the region in addition to the improved investment returns. Estimates are optimistic, despite a 3.7% marginal increase of premiums in 2010 at 3.6 billion USD. The good economic performance will have a positive impact on the non-life insurance sector thanks especially to an expected jump of motor insurance.
