Increase of motor insurance tariff

The Tunisian authorities have ordered a 5% increase in motor insurance premium, a decision that came into force as of September 2, 2013. The increase will only apply to the compulsory third party liability coverage. An adjustment was claimed by insurers who complained about the weakness of the legal rate.
