Howden establishes subsidiary in Japan

British insurance broker Howden has entered the Japanese insurance market with the launch of a subsidiary called "Howden Re Japan".

Headed by Kentaro Tada, the new structure offers reinsurance brokerage services and strategic advice to life and non-life companies.

Howden has also signed a partnership agreement with Keystone ILS Capital, a Japanese company specializing in ILS (insurance-linked securities) services.
