Health insurance: four licences awaiting approval in Egypt

Four health insurers are yet to be approved by the Egyptian regulatory authority (FRA) in order to operate on the market.

Health insurance companies are allowed an initial capital of up to 60 million EGP (3.815 million USD), while healthcare management companies require a minimum of 15 million EGP (953 870 USD).
