Growth of the Jordanian insurance market in 2017

According to the data of the Jordan Insurance Federation, (JIF), the 24 local insurance companies generated in 2017 a turnover of 593.7 million JOD (838.9 million JUSD), up by 2% in comparison with the 581.8 million JOD (824 million USD) in 2016.

The compensations disbursed to policyholders have also risen by 2.2% at 449 million JOD (634.5 million USD).
