Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (GIG Bahrain) closed the first three quarters of 2024 with insurance revenue of 85.907 million BHD (226.5 million USD), up by 7% on the 80.222 million BHD (211.5 million USD) posted a year earlier.
Net income increased by 1% from 3.962 million BHD (10.4 million USD) in the first nine months of 2023 to 4.002 million BHD (10.6 million USD) at the end of September 2024.
Insurance service result amounted to 2.608 million BHD (6.9 million USD), down 13.5% year-on-year. Net investment income totaled 3.415 million BHD (9 million USD), falling by 1% compared with the same period of 2023.
As at 30 September 2024, GIG Bahrain's assets and shareholders' equity stood at 192.87 million BHD (508.504 million USD) and 44.482 million BHD (118.2 million USD) respectively.
