GIG Bahrain: results to 30 June 2024

Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company's (GIG Bahrain) insurance revenue reached 56.658 million BHD (149.5 million USD) as at 30 June 2024, up by 9% on the 51.833 million BHD (136.6 million USD) recorded a year earlier.

Net income amounted to 2.938 million BHD (7.8 million USD), compared with 2.778 million BHD (7.3 million USD) for the same period in 2023, reflecting a 6% increase.

At 2.495 million BHD (6.6 million USD), the investment income was down by 2% over one year.

At the end of the first half of 2024, the company's assets and shareholders' equity stood at 182.01 million BHD (480.2 million USD) and 42.305 million BHD (111.6 million USD) respectively.
