Generali Life Hong Kong rating by Fitch Ratings

The rating reflects the company's strong capitalization, improving financial performance and moderate business profile. The agency also takes into consideration the strategic importance of Generali Hong Kong for its parent company. The rating also acknowledges the insurer's conservative investment strategy and prudent risk management.

The Italian Generali Group was first licensed in Hong Kong in 1981, before expanding into the life market in 2016 with the creation of Generali Life (Hong Kong) Limited.
