Generali France to introduce insurance for dogs and cats

The Italian insurance giant Generali is launching an insurance product called " Mon Animal Generali " on the French market. Designed for cat and dog owners, the policy covers the cost of annual veterinary consultations and care, hospitalization and illness expenses, as well as pet well-being sessions (physiotherapy).

Coverage is underwritten 100% online and is available in three formulas, Prudente, Ruse and Avise. The rates are set respectively at 42.68 or 92 EUR (51.82 or 111 USD) per month according to the chosen formula.
