GAT Vie, a subsidiary of GAT Assurances, has published its financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023. Turnover amounted to 58.7 million TND (19.1 million USD) compared with 53.9 million TND (17.2 million USD) in 2022. Premium volume was up by 9%.
At 17.7 million TND (5.8 million USD), net incurred losses were down by 31.9% year-on-year.
The Tunisian life insurer closed the year with a net profit of 4.4 million TND (1.4 million USD), representing a 5% increase on the 4.2 million TND (1.3 million USD) posted a year earlier.
The underwriting result climbed by 27% to 5.2 million TND (1.7 million USD).
