France, Covéa increases its share in SCOR's capital

The French mutual insurance group Covéa (GMF, MAAF and MMA), has increased its stake in the capital of SCOR to 5.64%.

Covéa,thus became the majority shareholder of the group ending with a 7.67% share. It's Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Holdings which has ceded substantially all of its shares in the French reinsurer.

As a reminder, Sompo Japan acquired in 2015 the share of patinex in SCOR, that is equivalent to 7.79% of the shares.
