Foreign insurers will soon be able to perform in Myanmar

The authorities of Myanmar are intent on introducing reforms in the insurance sector. The new regulation could, in the near future, authorize foreign companies to practise insurance business on the territory.

This opening involves the distribution of life and non-life policies and intermediation activities.
