Ethio Re: fiscal year 2023-2024 results

Ethiopian Reinsurance (Ethio Re) closed the 2023-2024 fiscal year with reinsurance revenue of 2.2 billion ETB (17.3 million USD), up by 29% year-on-year.

Net profit rose by 60% to 391 million ETB (3.1 million USD). Net reinsurance result amounted to 154.2 million ETB (1.2 million USD).

The year's results were presented at the company's 9th Annual General Meeting held on 31 December 2024 at the Hilton Addis Ababa Hotel.
