Establishment of the Insurance Market Development Committee

The Insurance Market Development Committee (IMDC) was founded with the purpose to develop and promote the Bahraini insurance market. It is represented by the Bahrain Monetary Agency (BMA), the Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA) and the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF).
For recall, in 2003, BMA granted 11 agreements to various insurance companies.
