EIC increases its capital

The shareholders of Emirates Insurance Company (EIC) have given their approval for the participation of Emirates nationals in the company's capital at a threshold of 49%. EIC, which has made a good performance in 2005, proceeded to an increase of its paid capital from 92 million AED (25 million USD) to 120 million AED (32.7 million USD).
