Egypt: A "Black List" to keep track of insurance fraudsters

The Insurance Federation of Egypt has drawn up a “Black List” in order to name and shame the insured who are responsible for fraud. This list will be made available for insurers to access and regards the customers of life insurers who have tried to defraud in order to obtain compensations that they are not entitled to.

This measure stands as an attempt designed to limit the losses sustained by life insurers.
