East Africa, new insurance regulatory standards

Gathered in Dar Salam (Tanzania) on January 23, 2016, the members of East African Insurance Supervisors Association, (EAISA), have outlined new oversight directives designed for insurers of the area operating in more than one country.

Such controls, called, cross-border supervision, are aimed at containing distribution activities for insurance    products, thus creating joint management standards.
