In light of the upsurge in cyber-attacks, Dubai Emirate has devised a new strategy aimed at covering against this kind of risk. The initiators of the project intend to render Dubai the safest place in the world in terms of IT security.
The strategy rests on several aspects: public awareness-raising about the threats associated with cyber criminality, pushing for further research in this area, stepping up control and consolidating cooperation with international institutions combatting this scourge.
