Development of microinsurance in Egypt

The Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) is keen on developing microinsurance in the country.

To do so, IFE is calling on the microinsurance technical committee to introduce simplified products for low-income earners, informal workers and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The committee is also urged to promote microinsurance through digital channels, including online distribution of products, management of the premium collection process and online claim settlement.
