Death of Edouard-Pierre Valentin, Chairman of SCG-Ré

Edouard-Pierre Valentin, a great insurance figure in Gabon passed away on 28 January 2019 at the age of 80 years.

E-P Valentin is the Chairman of the Board of the Société Commerciale Gabonaise de Réassurance (SCG-Ré) since its creation in 2012. He is the founder of the insurance company OGAR in the years1970s where he held the position of general manager.

E-P Valentin is the father-in-law of the Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba.
