Cyber risk Insurance is booming

Lloyd's is expecting a significant increase in demand for cyber risk insurance in 2017. Premiums underwritten for this cover have gone up by 50% in 2016.

According to the insurer Allianz, the cyber risk market currently generates 2.5 billion USD of premiums per year. This figure should reach 20 billion USD by 2025.
