Broker Guy Carpenter recently published a report estimating that the global cyber insurance market is valued at 16.6 billion USD in 2024.
North America dominates this market with 10.5 billion USD in premiums, followed by Europe (3.9 billion USD) and Asia Pacific (1.7 billion USD). The remaining 500 million USD are underwritten in the rest of the world.
The growth of this business segment stems from the increase in cyber risks, the introduction of new products and the emergence of new market players.
