Coronavirus: Compulsory travel insurance in Algeria

Due to the current health crisis, 18 countries are introducing mandatory travel insurance. This measure concerns all foreign nationals wishing to travel to one of these 18 countries, including Algeria.

This insurance will cover health expenses as well as hospitalization and repatriation costs in case of contamination by Covid-19.

The insurance aggregator Insurly believes that this course of action is intended as a precautionary measure for travelers. The coverage could then range from 2 000 to 100 000 USD.
