Consolidation of the Ghanaian insurance market: merger of three insurance companies

Three Ghanaian insurance companies: Star Assurance Company Limited, StarLife Assurance Company Limited and Star Microinsurance Company Limited, decided to merge into a new entity called Star Assurance Group Limited (SAGL).

Established in September 2020, SAGL intends to play a significant role in the local market.
