Competition Authority approves merger between Saudi Enaya and Salama

The General Authority for Competition (GAC) has issued a no-objection on the proposed merger between Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance and Salama Cooperative Insurance.

The two companies had signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding in February 2025 for a possible merger.

According to both insurers, the merger is still under consideration, and no definitive agreement has yet been reached.

Finalization of the transaction is subject to the approval of the relevant authorities and the shareholders of both companies.
