COMAR Assurances: significant increase in net profit in 2021

The Compagnie Méditerranéenne d'Assurances et de Réassurances (COMAR) has posted a record net profit in 2021. The net result has gone from 25.4 million TND (9.3 million USD) in 2020 to 33.8 million TND (11.7 million USD) a year later, representing a 33% jump.

The Tunisian insurer is planning to increase its share capital from 50 million TND (16.92 million USD) to 75 million TND (25.3 million USD).

This motion will be submitted to COMAR's ordinary and extraordinary general meeting which will be held on 21 April 2022 in Tunis.
