Climate change: inter-company agreement to protect Ivorian agriculture

A consortium of Ivorian insurers comprising SanlamAllianz, Atlantique Assurance Vie et non Vie, AXA and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) signed a strategic partnership agreement on 3 December 2024.

This agreement is aimed at protecting Côte d'Ivoire's agricultural sector against the adverse effects of climate change.

The parties involved will propose insurance solutions tailored to the specific needs of the most vulnerable populations, farmers in particular.
