CCR, a positive result

Relatively spared by the natural catastrophes losses, Caisse Centrale de Réassurance has reported a positive balance in 2005 with a stable turnover of 1.297 billion EUR (1.66 billion USD) and a 125 million EUR (160 million USD) net profit. The overall claim costs for the insurer amounted to 526 million EUR (674 million USD).
