CARTE group finalizes the acquisition of 39% of UBCI

On 28 August 2019, the acquisition of 39% of the capital of Union Bancaire pour le Commerce et l'Industrie (UBCI) by the CARTE group has been finalized.

This participation has been acquired from PNB Paribas. However, the French banking group kept 11.09% of the Tunisian bank's capital.

The transaction amounts to 183.3 million TND (66.13 million USD).
