Compagnie Algérienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR) has recorded a net profit of 1.03 billion DZD (7.5 million USD) in 2024, a strong turnaround from a net loss of 596 million DZD (4.4 million USD) in 2023.
The Company has allocated 52 million DZD (380 580 USD) of these profits to the legal reserve and 979 million DZD (7.2 million USD) to retained earnings.
These figures were disclosed following the company’s Annual General Meeting.
According to Hacene Ouberrane, General Manager of CAAR, the company's annual turnover amounted to 15.3 billion DZD (112 million USD), representing a 3% decline compared to the end of 2023.
