Braxtone Group: Motor insurance meeting in Oman

In partnership with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and the Oman Insurance Association, the Bahraini Braxtone Group organized a meeting entitled “Gahwa with Braxtone” on 26 May 2025.

The event was held in Oman on the theme: “The Omani motor insurance market: performance, challenges and strategic perspectives”.

Insurance executives, brokers, regulators and insurance service providers came together to discuss the rapidly evolving motor sector in the country.

Some of the issues addressed included the rising demand for motor policies, consumer behavior, regulatory developments and price competition.

Discussions also focused on insurance fraud, the impact of electric vehicles on the sector, and third-party liability insurance, which currently accounts for 85% of motor underwriting.
